The courtesy visit was aimed at formally notifying the Speaker of the upcoming anniversary while exploring avenues for deepened collaboration between ADB and the legislative arm of government.

During the meeting, Speaker Bagbin lauded the bank’s contribution to national development and encouraged the leadership to pursue reforms that would strengthen Ghana’s banking landscape, especially in the face of increasing foreign competition.

He also highlighted the importance of updating financial laws to reflect global and technological shifts in the sector, assuring the bank of Parliament’s readiness to partner in driving sustainable reforms that boost financial inclusion and institutional growth.
