Over the weekend, Andre Dede Ayew completed his return to the French top flight by signing with Ligue 1 side Le Havre.

The official announcement of this new signing was made by the club on November 11, 2023, through their social media channels.

To mark the occasion, the club shared a video message from the Black Stars skipper, expressing his delight at joining Le Havre.

During the announcement, the club was in the midst of a game, and shortly after, videos of Dede Ayew's first appearance at their home grounds emerged.

The stadium was filled with enthusiastic supporters as Dede, sporting his jersey on his shoulder, greeted the crowd in casual attire and a brown overcoat.

Before the official announcement, Le Havre teased the news with a video featuring a faceless player sitting at a table, logging on to X to make an undisclosed announcement.

It was revealed that the mysterious player was indeed Andre Dede Ayew.

As of now, neither the club nor the player have disclosed specific details regarding the contract.

Andre's previous club was Birmingham in the English Premier League before making a move to Qatari giants Al Sadd.

His return to Le Havre precedes the upcoming international break, where he is set to rejoin the Black Stars for the AFCON qualifiers.
