Effective Monday, November 9, the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) will launch its nationwide Mass Revenue Mobilization Exercise.
All customers who owe ECG — from homes and businesses to factories and government agencies — will be covered in the exercise, which ends on Friday, November 27, 2026.
Announcing the exercise, ECG's General Manager for External Communications, Dr Charles Nii Ayiku Ayiku, advised customers with outstanding bills to pay up now. He warned that failure to do so could lead to disconnection, plus the additional cost of reconnection fees.
Dr Ayiku said the goal is to boost the company's revenue collection and improve its finances.
