Editor-in-Chief of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt, has encouraged Ghanaian youth to take proactive roles in advocating for their rights and freedoms.

Making an appearance on the KokroKoo Show on Peace FM, he highlighted the limitations of relying on older generations for activism

Kwesi Pratt also emphasized the need for youth to step forward and lead initiatives aimed at societal change.

He underscored the importance of youth activism in shaping the future of Ghana, urging young people to engage actively in issues that affect their wellbeing and future prospects.

“I am not a child; I am 71 years old. The physical activities I engaged in during my twenties and thirties are beyond my capability now. If you, a young man, are waiting for a 71-year-old to demonstrate for your freedom, then you are mistaken," he added.
