A Senior Research Fellow of the Kumasi Technical University, Professor Smart Sarpong, has asked the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to provide a better explanation of the 24-hour economy proposed by former President John Dramani Mahama.

Speaking in an interview on Peace FM, Prof Smart noted that Ghanaians have been plunged into a state of confusion given the various conflicting explanations offered by members of the NDC.

Giving his submission, he lauded the policy, however, he contended that the various conflicting explanations are marring its beauty.

He, thus, entreated the party to come clear on the subject so that Ghanaians can have a serious conversion on it.

“Those who are explaining do not seem to have a full grasp of the policy. it also If it is that serious, let’s have a serious conversation about it," he said.
