Video: Pep Guardiola lost his temper, almost fought a fan after on the street after 0-2 defeat against Liverpool

Manchester City’s head coach, Pep Guardiola, was nearly involved in a physical confrontation with a fan after a recent loss.

A video circulating online shows the fan mocking Guardiola over the defeat, prompting an unusually heated response from the usually composed Spanish manager.

The fan was heard saying, "Cry, mate, just because you lost," as Guardiola walked past.

Pep Guardiola, the former Barcelona manager, turned to confront the fan after hearing the comment, but his security team intervened to stop him.

It is still unclear if the incident happened after Manchester City's 2-0 loss to Liverpool on Sunday, December 1, 2024.

City had been struggling, losing six of their last seven matches without a win. However, they broke the streak with a commanding 4-0 victory over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
