2 mins readGhanaian talent manager Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bullgod, has urged President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his officials to brace themselves for imprisonment after their term ends on January 7, 2025.

Bullgod suggested that the President and his appointees should prioritise the renovation of the Nsawam Medium Security Prison, as he believes they will eventually face prosecution for alleged corruption and their involvement in illegal mining (galamsey).

“…Starting from Nana Akufo-Addo to all the presidential staffers, I am giving you a job and the job is very simple; you see the three months that are left, if you know what is good for you, go and renovate Nsawam.

Go and renovate Nsawam because that is where you will spend the rest of your life,” Bullgod said.

Recently, the government has faced mounting pressure to address illegal mining. Tensions have further heightened following the arrest and prosecution of protesters opposing illegal mining two weeks ago.

On Saturday, hundreds of Ghanaians concluded a three-day demonstration led by the Citizens Coalition Against Illegal Mining.

The protesters, who were demanding decisive government action against illegal mining and the release of those arrested, marched through the streets of Accra to voice their concerns.
