Several people sustained injuries after gunmen ambushed a passenger bus at Pusi-Namoo, a suburb of Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region, on Saturday night.The attack occurred around 8:00 PM while the bus was traveling from Garu in the Upper East Region to Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. The assailants opened fire on the vehicle, leaving numerous passengers with severe gunshot wounds.

Emergency services promptly transported the injured to the Upper East Regional Hospital in Bolgatanga for urgent medical care.
