The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will today, Tuesday, October 6, swear in Henry Nana Boakye and Nana Akomea as its Second and Third Vice Chairmen, respectively. The swearing-in is expected to formally usher Nana Akomea and Henry Nana Boakye into office after they were elected at the party’s national delegates congress.Following the New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s national elections in Kumasi, a new team of national executives was elected to manage the affairs of the party, while some retained their positions and others beat their predecessors to take on the new role.
John Boadu was elected National Chairman, while Justin Frimpong Kodua retained his position as General Secretary.
Kojo Fosu Boadu, popularly known as Kojo Bamba, was elected First Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), with Henry Nana Boakye, also known as Nana B, taking the Second Vice Chairman position.
Nana Akomea will serve as the party’s Third Vice Chairman, while Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover has been elected National Organiser.Former Member of Parliament for Awutu-Senya East, Mavis Hawa Koomson also emerged as the National Women’s Organiser, with Abanga Fuseini elected National Youth Organiser.
Alfred Kojo Thompson was elected National Treasurer, while Alhaji Mohammed Ali Suraj secured the position of Nasara Coordinator and Miracles Aboagye emerged as the National Communications Officer.
The new executives were sworn into office immediately after the declaration of the results, marking the start of their tenure as the NPP’s new national leadership.
