A flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Agyapong, has urged party delegates in the Western Region to disregard the counsel of certain corrupt party leaders when choosing their preferred candidate in the upcoming primaries.

Speaking at a rally in Takoradi, which marked the culmination of his high-profile Health Walk campaign, Mr Agyapong criticized these leaders, suggesting that their own corrupt practices prevent them from effectively criticizing the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).Agyapong also accused some NPP leaders in the Western Region of undermining his campaign during the Super Delegates' conference, where he had a lackluster performance.

The "showdown Health Walk" event garnered significant attention in support of Agyapong's presidential aspirations, drawing a substantial crowd in the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolis.Supporters of Ken Agyapong expressed their enthusiasm through dance and song, affirming their belief that he is the best candidate to lead the NPP.
