2 mins readKumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, is facing a defamation lawsuit worth GH¢5 million filed by actress Martha Ankomah, according to reports from Accra’s High Court.Efforts to resolve the matter outside of court have been unsuccessful, leading the plaintiff's legal team to push for the case to continue in court. Discussions around a possible settlement were held in July, which resulted in a temporary adjournment.

However, during a court session on October 15, 2024, the plaintiff’s lawyer, Nii Apatu Plange, explained, , “We presented our proposals to the intermediary, but he later informed us that the defendant does not seem interested in reaching a settlement. Therefore, I can confirm that settlement efforts have failed.

”Justice Forson Agyapong Baah adjourned the case to 5 November 2024, noting, “In the circumstances, the case is adjourned to 5 November 2024, for hearing to begin at 8:30 a.m. Let hearing notices, along with today’s notes, be issued and served on the defendant.”
