”Speaking at a special National Muslim prayer and thanksgiving service at the National Mosque in Kanda, Accra, on January 10, Mahama reassured supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) about the government’s progress.“Government is being formed, ministers will be put in place, other officials will be appointed. And as I said, we will have our full cabinet in 14 days,” he stated.

He urged party members to remain patient and avoid taking actions that could create challenges for the incoming administration, emphasizing the importance of proper channels for resolving concerns.“And so we will have ministers in charge. If you have any issues, you consult any of the ministers and have it resolved. So, exercise restraint,” Mahama advised.

He also warned against repeating the mistakes of the previous New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, stating:“Many people have said it is the same thing the NPP said when they came into 2017. And that is why Ghanaians have voted them out. We must not copy the mistakes that they made. I plead with our supporters, let us do things in an orderly manner.
