The World Cup-winning French international, Paul Pogba, has received a provisional suspension due to testing positive for testosterone.
Pogba's injury troubles have limited his club football appearances this season to just 52 minutes, and he now faces the possibility of a four-year ban if it is determined that he intentionally used the banned substance.
Initially, he is suspended for two years, which could lead to the termination of his contract with Juventus.
According to reports from La Repubblica, Juventus is already exploring potential replacements for Pogba.
Arsenal's midfielder, Thomas Partey, has long been on their radar, and they inquired about his availability during the summer.
Although Arsenal is hesitant to sell, given the presence of Declan Rice in their squad for the holding midfield role, their stance might change if the right offer is presented.
Partey, a Ghanaian international, is currently recovering from a hamstring injury but has already made appearances in three Premier League games for Arsenal in the 2023–24 season.
