Although the official statement did not specify the reasons behind the postponement, sources suggest that legal complications may have played a role, following the filing of an injunction by Rashid Ibrahim, an alumnus of UPSA. Mr Ibrahim reportedly seeks to prevent the ceremony amid concerns regarding Professor Mawutor’s academic promotion.
