Renowned comedian Bovi caused quite a stir by sharing that he declined marriage proposals from three well-known actresses.

During the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF), the stand-up comic disclosed that three actresses had approached him with marriage offers despite him being already married with children. He explained that he politely turned down these proposals as they came with added responsibilities.

In a statement that sparked reactions, Bovi mentioned, “Last night @afriff 3 actresses offered me marriage for a year. I turned them down because the offers came with responsibility”.

In response to his post, actress Sharon Ooja humorously suggested to Bovi that he should inform the three actresses that she functions as his wife's personal bodyguard and would take the matter to the streets if necessary.

“Look at my guy. My own friend !!! Tell those actresses I’m Kris body guard I go meet them for streets stay blessed,” she said.
