Former Arsenal midfielder Adrian Clarke has suggested that Ghana's Mohammed Kudus could be the perfect replacement for Bukayo Saka, who was injured during Arsenal’s 5-1 win over Crystal Palace on December 21, 2024.
Saka, who limped off in the first half and was seen leaving on crutches, may be out for several weeks, leaving a gap in the team that Clarke believes Kudus could fill effectively.
With Raheem Sterling also injured after a training mishap, Arsenal now faces a shortage in their wing positions.
Adrian Clarke has suggested that the club should target Mohammed Kudus as a potential replacement for Bukayo Saka, who is expected to be out for some time.
Clarke believes Kudus could be the ideal player to step in and help fill the gap left by the injured players.
Speaking in an interview with talkSPORT, Clarke said, “Kudus is a player Arsenal have shown long-term interest in. He’s an ideal replacement for Bukayo Saka and can contribute up front as well.
He’s a brilliant dribbler and a wonderful ball carrier. Could Arsenal test West Ham’s resolve with a bid this month?”
Since joining West Ham, 24-year-old Kudus has made 61 appearances and scored 17 goals. His strong performances have attracted interest from several top clubs, all eager to secure his signature.
