A missing person notice of a 20-year-old student of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Innocentia Avinu, went viral a few days ago, and recent reports indicate that she has been found dead on a beach, with police launching investigations into the circumstances of her death.

This comes after she went missing prompting concern among students and residents in the coastal area where she was found.
Circumstances surrounding her death are yet to be established but reports indicated that some parts of her body were missing.
Police say they are treating the case as a serious incident and have begun efforts to establish what led to her death.
The last time Miss Avinu, a Level 200 student, was seen was after she told her friends of a meeting with an acquaintance outside the university community.
The discovery of her body has heightened anxiety among students of the University of Cape Coast, with calls for a thorough investigation into the circumstances leading to her death
