A vehicular accident has been reported at the Okponglo stretch close to the University of Ghana, Legon. The car crash that occurred today involved five vehicles, four being private cars.
No casualties have been reported.
It is believed that tailgating is the cause of the accident.
The relevant authorities are yet to arrive at the scene as of the time the story was reported.Tailgating refers to the practice of driving very closely behind another vehicle.
This can be dangerous as it reduces the driver's reaction time if the vehicle in front suddenly stops or slows down.
Tailgating is often considered aggressive driving and is illegal in many places due to the increased risk of accidents it poses.
