Former Deputy Sports Minister Vincent Oppong Asamoah has revealed that he is not interested in taking up the role of Minister for Sports and Recreation due to the intense criticism and backlash that come with the position.Speaking in an interview with Happy FM, he explained that the challenges and public scrutiny associated with the role make it unappealing to him.

Although President Mahama has yet to announce his choice for the position, Oppong Asamoah made it clear that he would not consider accepting the role.“No, I don’t want it because of these plenty of insults.
