Kevin de Bruyne ended his stint with Man City on an exciting note, as his club secured a 3-1 victory against Bournemouth, cementing their place in the Champions League next season.

City suffered a 0-1 defeat to Crystal Palace in Saturday's FA Cup final, and being sixth on the Premier League table, they desperately needed a win to help them secure a place in Europe's premier club competition.

1

Pep Guardiola's men now sit third, in a strong position heading into Sunday's last game of the season at Fulham (16:00 BST), where at least a draw should be enough to ensure a return to the Champions League table.

2

This win for City was a significant one for the club, as it marked City legend De Bruyne's final home game until his contract ends in summer. He had to finally bid his fans farewell.

3

Kevin got emotional after his teammates gave him a guard of honor with fans chanting his name and watching a montage on the big screen.

BBC Radio's Natalie Pike, during an engagement with De Bruyne, asked him how he was feeling; he responded, "Ummm, very emotional."

6

He was then allowed to put himself together while he tried to hold back his tears.

7

On the other hand, after the cameras panned to City's Pep Guardiola, he was captured with tears running down his cheeks.

"We've won everything. We've made the club bigger, and now they're going to take over."

13

De Bruyne has scored 108 goals in 421 City appearances, the first City midfielder since Colin Bell to hit triple figures, while also piling up 177 assists.
