Barcelona's financial constraints have led the club to primarily focus on acquiring free agents, securing loan deals, and targeting talented players who find themselves out of favour at their current clubs.

According to Mundo Deportivo, this strategy is expected to persist, and they have provided a list of players that Barcelona is considering ahead of the summer transfer window.

First on their list is Jadon Sancho, the Manchester United winger. The English international has been sidelined since August 26 due to well-documented issues with manager Erik ten Hag, resulting in his exclusion from first-team activities.

Ten Hag seems unwavering in his approach, but Barcelona may face competition from Roma, who are also reportedly interested in the 23-year-old.

Another Manchester United player under Barcelona's radar is Anthony Martial, who has struggled to secure significant playing time, even amid the issues in Ten Hag's squad. Martial, aged 27, has a contract set to expire in the summer.

Matthijs de Ligt is also under consideration by Barcelona.

The 24-year-old center-back has openly expressed his dissatisfaction with his limited playing time at Bayern Munich, having received just 82 minutes in the Bundesliga under manager Thomas Tuchel this season.

Barcelona is also exploring the possibility of acquiring Arsenal midfielder Jorginho.

The 31-year-old midfielder joined Arsenal in January, but his contract is currently set to expire in the summer of 2024.

Additionally, there is a surprising interest in versatile forward and midfielder Kai Havertz, who recently joined Arsenal this summer for £65 million but has already become a subject of frustration.

Furthermore, Barcelona is among several clubs interested in negotiating with 21-year-old forward Nico Williams if Athletic Club fails to reach a contract renewal agreement with him.

Williams' current deal is set to expire this summer.
