2 mins readSpokesperson for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum, has revealed that the GFA has been making efforts to pay off Black Stars coach Otto Addo’s unpaid salary.He explained that the GFA has held multiple discussions with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to address the arrears, but so far, these efforts have not been successful.

Asante Twum also mentioned that the GFA has been persistently reminding the ministry about the debt, but they have not received a positive response.In an interview with Asempa FM, he stated that Otto Addo remains patient while the GFA continues working to settle the arrears.“Yes, it is true we owe him [Otto Addo]. The last time I checked, there were some salaries in arrears, thus four months if we add December 2023.
