Addressing workers during this year’s May Day celebration in Bechem, Mr. Frimpong applauded their resilience and dedication in the face of economic challenges, reaffirming that their labour is instrumental in driving local and national development.

“Your tireless efforts are the backbone of our progress and a symbol of hope for a brighter future,” he stated.

He used the occasion to extend his warm wishes to workers across the country, with a special mention of those in Tano South, acknowledging their contributions to building stronger communities.

“On this special occasion of Workers’ Day, on behalf of the municipality, I extend my heartfelt wishes to all hardworking individuals across the nation, especially Tano South,” Mr. Frimpong said.

He also encouraged continued unity and collaboration between workers and the local government, emphasizing the importance of maintaining peace and a shared sense of purpose to ensure sustained progress.

“As your MCE, I commend your resilience and commitment. Let’s continue working together for a brighter and more prosperous future. Your labour is not in vain, it is deeply appreciated,” he added.
