Nigerian artist Ayodeji Balogun, also known as Wizkid, has declared a temporary hiatus from the music industry and is contemplating a career shift towards sports.

Wizkid shared these thoughts through a series of posts on his Instagram page in response to a fan's demand for new music.

In the initial response, Wizkid used a laughing emoji, but he subsequently took to his Instagram to announce that he is currently on vacation.

He wrote, “Una papa dey holiday, make I enjoy”.

Furthermore, he humorously indicated that he might consider a 4- to 5-year sabbatical from music to explore alternative career opportunities in the realm of sports.

In a lighthearted manner, Wizkid listed various sports, including football, golf, 'FIFA hoe,' and 'wrestling bitches,' as potential paths he might pursue during his music hiatus.
