Kanayo recently described men as “endangered species” during an episode of ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast, co-hosted by Husband Material and Deity Cole.He expressed concern over the disparity in financial support between male and female actors from wealthy benefactors.

Kanayo highlighted that rich Nigerian men often lavish significant amounts of money on female actors, making their male counterparts appear less industrious.He emphasized that this financial favoritism extends to significant sums for personal projects, citing instances where female actors receive millions for productions.In contrast, male actors, including himself, are told to work harder instead of receiving similar support.

Kanayo further pointed out that financial appeals for medical expenses are predominantly made by men, underscoring the financial challenges they face.“Many Nigerian rich men patronise our women and give them benefits that make us look like we are not working hard,” he lamented.“Nigerian rich men, most of them spend money on our girls to the extent that it impoverishes us.
