Otto Addo, the head coach of the Black Stars, has claimed that his squad have the necessary skills to compete with Portugal in Group H's opening match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Portugal is one of the heavy favorites to win the World Cup because of their exceptional talent.
The German-trained player stated the Black Stars will need to be brave against the Portuguese team despite their quality during a press conference prior to the game.
"We are capable of competing with them. We must undoubtedly exercise great bravery, he said.
Portugal's head coach, Fernando Santos, named a start-stuttering side consisting of Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Pepe, Joao Cancelo, Rafael Leo, Joao Felix, and a host of other big names for the tournament.
Meanwhile, Ghana will count on a few big names including Thomas Partey, Kudus Mohammed, Inaki Williams, Andre Ayew, and Jordan Ayew to make things tick for them.
Ghana will come off against Portugal on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Stadium 974 (Rass Abou Aboud).
