Ghanaian rap icon, Michael Owusu, known as Sarkodie, has ignited a debate following his recent performance at the Rapperholic Concert.
The celebrated rapper, known for his multiple awards, hosted a sold-out concert and took the opportunity to surprise attendees with a performance of 'Try Me', a song that became a sensation online several months ago.
Sarkodie's rendition of 'Try Me', widely regarded as a diss track, was directed at the renowned actress, Yvonne Nelson.
This comes in the wake of Nelson's memoir release, 'I Am Not Yvonne Nelson', where she made a controversial claim about Sarkodie pressuring her for an abortion.
Sarkodie's musical response with 'Try Me' has not been well-received by all, particularly among many women who perceive it as an act of bullying towards Nelson.
