Ghanaian footballer Thomas Partey is back in full training with Arsenal after a two-month absence from both club and international matches.
The midfielder's last appearance was for the Black Stars in October during friendlies against Mexico and the USA.
Partey suffered a hamstring injury before a game, and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta had announced that the player would be sidelined for several weeks.
This setback led to Partey missing 30 matches across various competitions for Arsenal and also prevented him from participating in the Black Stars' opening 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros.
Concerns had arisen about the vice-captain's availability for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, but the 30-year-old has made a full recovery and is set to return to action. Arsenal's upcoming match against West Ham United is on the horizon, providing an opportunity for Partey to resume competitive play.
Despite his recent injury, Thomas Partey remains a key figure for Ghana, as evidenced by his inclusion in the 55-man provisional squad for the 2023 AFCON, which will take place in Ivory Coast.
