Ghanaian rapper Medikal, born Samuel Adu Frimpong, has made a sensational statement about his estranged partner, Fella Makafui, regarding their daughter's upbringing and household challenges.

In a candid revelation, Medikal shared his frustrations and concerns, particularly an incident where their daughter, Island, was allegedly in danger of consuming marijuana-infused candy.

In a video shared on GhPage TV on YouTube, Medikal said, “I have been through so much. I won't say some things, because no matter what, she is my daughter's mother. I can't say some things. They are too gory. They are too heartbreaking,” Medikal stated, expressing his exhaustion with the situation. He continued, “At this point, I am tired. I am very tired.”

Medikal alleges that Fella has been negligent, “This lady can come home with toffees laced with marijuana, gummies that look like candies children will want to have. Island almost picked up… I don't want to say things, but what they are doing is pushing me to the edge, you know.”

Despite the alleged turmoil, Medikal emphasizes his commitment to his daughter's well-being, "I want my child to be happy. I just want her to be happy.”

He also detailed the financial responsibilities he bears, including the GHC 2000 monthly payments to the nanny, driver, chef, and housekeeper, while Fella, according to Medikal, does not contribute to the household duties.

Medikal's statement sheds light on the complexities of co-parenting, especially when the relationship between parents is strained. He expressed a desire to avoid conflict for the sake of their child, “I do not want to have any trouble with this lady… I even at some point had to call people to come get her out of the house."

The rapper also touched upon the pressures of public life and the expectations placed on them by society, "Those ladies who are on Instagram who work on TV, I do not want to mention any names. The ones you so desperately want to be like, so you get to travel around, etc, they all wish to be like you. They want to have a man who will be there for them."
