Security has been intensified in Nkwanta, Oti Region, following violent clashes linked to a chieftaincy dispute that have resulted in multiple fatalities.A joint task force comprising police and military personnel has been deployed to the area to restore calm after violence erupted on Wednesday, January 15, and persisted into the night of Thursday, January 16. The clashes have claimed three lives and left several others injured.
