As the year 2023 approaches its conclusion, various stakeholders in the music industry, including streaming platforms, media outlets, listeners, and artists, are spotlighting their standout songs of the year.

International pop sensation Rihanna has identified Davido's 'Unavailable,' featuring Musa Keys, as her favorite song of the year. The track is part of Davido's record-breaking fourth album, 'Timeless.' Rihanna, sharing her preference in a recent interview, disclosed that 'Unavailable' has been on repeat throughout the year.

In the interview, the musician, now a billionaire entrepreneur, also acknowledged Tyler ICU's hit single 'Mnike' as one of her favorite songs of 2023.

Rihanna's admiration for Davido's 'Unavailable' resonates globally, as the single has garnered immense popularity worldwide.

It topped the TurnTable Top 100 and secured a position in the top 10 of Spotify and Apple Music's top Nigerian songs by the end of the year.

The international success of 'Unavailable' led to several remixes, including collaborations with Jamaican Dancehall legend Sean Paul and American rapper Latto.

As the anticipation builds, 'Unavailable' is set to compete for the Grammy award for Best African Music Performance on February 5, 2024. This marks a significant milestone for Davido, who has received three Grammy nominations and is hopeful to secure his first Grammy win with this nomination.
