Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reportedly prepared to make an irresistible offer to Tottenham for the signing of Harry Kane, as they compete with Bayern Munich for the striker's services.
While Bayern has publicly expressed interest in Kane and has already made two bids, PSG is focused on negotiating personal terms with the England captain before potentially submitting an official bid. According to Foot Mercato, if PSG successfully reaches an agreement with Kane, they will then table an offer to Tottenham that would be difficult to turn down.
Kane's current contract with Tottenham is set to expire next summer, but reports indicate that Spurs are demanding a fee of £120 million ($157 million) for the striker, even considering his contract situation nearing its end.
It remains to be seen if PSG would be willing to match that figure, as such a number may only be achievable if the club sell Kylian Mbappe this summer, amid interest from Real Madrid.
Kane is currently in Australia with Spurs for pre-season but Bayern Munich's honorary president Uli Hoeness has claimed that his club are confident of reaching an agreement to sign him.
Kane is likely to be involved when Spurs play West Ham in a friendly on Tuesday.
