Entertainment pundit and politician Kwame Obeng Asare, widely known as A Plus, recently emphasized that Sarkodie stands unparalleled among Ghanaian rappers.

Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz hosted by MzGee on July 13, 2024, A Plus praised Sarkodie's enduring success and contributions to the music industry.

He acknowledged the significant impact of pioneers like Obrafour and Lord Kenya but asserted that Sarkodie's achievements surpass them all.

A Plus dismissed the need for comparisons, stating that Sarkodie's accomplishments speak for themselves, regardless of historical context or technological advancements.

"Lord Kenya is my brother, and Obrafour's reign and impact on the industry are undeniable. However, Sarkodie's achievements are immense, and no rapper in Ghana has achieved what he has. Nobody comes close.

"It doesn't matter whether there was internet or not. People say that during Obrafour's days, there was no internet, but did Sarkodie invent the internet?" he said in Twi.
