She confirmed that the mandate of Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL), which is part of the government's strategy during the transition period, will conclude with the appointment of an Attorney General.

“The work of ORAL will end with the appointment of the Attorney General. Its mandate is to prepare a comprehensive report as part of the transition process. Meanwhile, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for North Tongu and Chairman of the Operation Recover All Loot team, revealed that his team has gathered substantial evidence of looted state assets by appointees of the previous administration. He shared that the evidence would soon be submitted to President John Dramani Mahama for further action.

“We will not disclose the nature of our achievements until we have presented our report to His Excellency the President.

When we present our report, at that presentation, the Ghanaian people will see the tremendous work that has gone on and the extent of the loot and how all of us collectively have worked successfully to make sure that the evidence is put together, is coordinated to make sure that our attorney general and our institutions help us to recover these loots,” Ablakwa stated confidently to journalists in the Eastern Region.
