1 min readPresident John Dramani Mahama has appointed Dr. Bernice Makafui Brempong as the acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC).She replaces Yofi Grant, who served in the position until Monday, December 30, 2024.Before her appointment, Dr. Brempong was the CEO of Makhealth Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Ghana’s School of Pharmacy, a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from University College London, and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.In her new role, Dr. Brempong has pledged to work closely with stakeholders to improve Ghana’s business climate and reinforce the nation’s standing as a prime investment destination in Africa.
