Families, friends, and government officials have gathered at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), for a National Interfaith Memorial Service in honour of the August 6 helicopter crash victims. Today marks exactly a year since the tragic incident, which claimed the lives of eight people and plunged the nation into mourning.

President John Dramani Mahama, Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, Members of Parliament, Ministers of State, government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, traditional and religious leaders, family members of the deceased and other mourners have been spotted at the Service.
