Juventus will terminate Paul Pogba's contract if he receives a drug offence suspension, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
After Juventus' match against Udinese on August 20, Pogba tested positively for testosterone.
He sat on Juve's bench but did not participate in the Serie A game.
The anti-doping organisation Nado Italia said that Pogba has been suspended temporarily with immediate effect.
He runs the risk of a four-year suspension while his case is tried and a backup B sample is tested.
According to a source who spoke to ESPN's Julien Laurens, the food supplements were given to him by a friend of his who works as a doctor in Miami; nevertheless, Italy does not sell those specific food supplements.
Pogba has a three-year contract with Juventus and is paid a large salary of €8 million a year plus €2 million in bonuses. While the lawsuit is still pending, his pay has already been cut to just €2,000 per month.
He joined the team again last year on a free transfer from Manchester United, but due to a number of fitness difficulties, he has only played in seven Serie A games.
