Nollywood legend Kanayo O. Kanayo recently addressed the growing issue of ingratitude in a video posted on Instagram.
He criticized the trend of people receiving financial help and merely responding with "seen," highlighting how such responses lack appreciation.
Kanayo emphasized the importance of expressing gratitude, stating that failing to do so equates to ingratitude. He pointed out that receiving money and responding with "seen" reflects an entitlement mentality, which does not convey thankfulness.
He reminded his followers that no one is obligated to help others, and showing appreciation encourages continued kindness. Kanayo urged people to be thankful for any assistance they receive, fostering a culture of gratitude rather than selfishness. He concluded by wishing everyone a wonderful week and reinforcing the value of expressing thanks.
