Dr. Rashid Pelpuo, the Minister-Designate for Labour, Jobs, and Employment, has revealed that he is in the process of officially acquiring a piece of land allocated to him by the Lands Commission for his service as a ranking member on the Lands Committee of Parliament four years ago.

Appearing before the Appointments Committee today, the nominee stated that during his four-year tenure on the committee, it was customary for members, upon completing their service, to be allocated land by the Lands Commission.According to Dr. Pelpuo, he has taken steps to acquire the land but has yet to finalize the transaction."I've made attempts to acquire it. They're saying they will do the papers for me. I haven't gotten the papers yet," he
