I'm not certain of a second GWR attempt; Ghanaians are not appreciative enough - Afua Asantewaa

Media personality and entrepreneur Afua Asantewaa's ambitious Guinness World Record (GWR) attempt for the longest singing marathon has taken a controversial twist, leading to her disqualification and subsequent media tour to explain the situation.

After days of anticipation and excitement surrounding her record-breaking endeavour, Asantewaa faced disappointment when the Guinness World Records disqualified her attempt. However, the plot thickened as she embarked on a media tour to shed light on the behind-the-scenes drama.

During an exclusive interview with Adom FM on Ghpage TV's Instagram, Asantewaa made startling revelations about alleged sabotage orchestrated by some Ghanaians.According to the singer, certain individuals actively worked to ensure her disqualification by sending video excerpts of her singing marathon to Guinness World Records, pointing out aspects they believed warranted her removal from contention.

"Even before the GWR requested my video, they made me aware that during my attempt, some people had sent them videos pinpointing certain things they thought should disqualify me," Asantewaa revealed during the interview.Afua Asantewaa stated that attempting a second GWR attempt is not certain for now due to some Ghanaians' reception towards her.

Despite the setback, Asantewaa maintained a composed demeanour, acknowledging the existence of individuals with such tendencies. "I know some people are naturally like that, and I don't blame them," she added.

As the controversy unfolds, the singer is using her media tour to address the public and provide clarity on the circumstances leading to her disqualification. The unexpected turn of events has left fans and followers eager to learn more about the alleged sabotage and the singer's response to the setback.
