1 min readThe National Security Coordinator, the Inspector General of Police and the Attorney General have been sued by the Editor of Mordernghana.com, Emmanuel Ajarfor.Ajarfor has filed a suit at the Human Rights Division of the High Court against the security capos alleging the violation of his right to personal liberty, fair trial and human dignity, following his arrest last month by operatives of National Security.

Emmanuel Yeboah Britwum has since denied ever being tortured.The controversial arrest and surrounding circumstances have since elicited calls for an independent probe, with the Ghana Journalists Association in particular condemning the arrest and alleged torture.
