2 mins readFounder of Heaven's Gate Ministries, Prophet Nicholas Osei, also known as Prophet Kumchacha has publicly expressed regret for his previous criticisms of former President John Mahama's administration. This comes at a time of increasing dissatisfaction with the current government led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

In his apology, Prophet Kumchacha admitted that he had never supported the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama's party, through his voting choices. He clarified, "I have consistently stated that I have never cast my vote for the NDC. Truth remains truth; there's a saying that removing something from your mother's side doesn't imply anything inappropriate.

"Reflecting on his past critiques during Mahama's presidency, he confessed, "I used to openly criticize John Mahama when negative occurrences took place during his tenure. So, when I speak today, I urge you to listen. Today, I, Osofo Kumchacha, am extending my apologies to John Mahama.

"To underscore his sincerity, Prophet Kumchacha kneeled down and addressed Mahama directly, saying, "Former President John Mahama, with genuine humility, I apologize. Please forgive any remarks I made during your time in office concerning 'dumsor', currency devaluation, and fuel prices. John, forgive me in God's name."He attributed his change of heart to the current government's performance.

"I didn't foresee that this administration, according to John 10:10, would bring about such positive transformations. Look at the current fuel prices, exceeding GH₵60 per gallon. The dollar exchange rate is now over GH₵15.
