During the tour of the historical site, the weight of history and the profound human suffering etched into the land overwhelmed her, evoking a visceral and emotional response that she couldn't contain.

Speaking on the sidelines of the visit, she remarked that: “The real reason we’ve journeyed here was to connect with our ancestors and having the opportunity to do that today, I am reminded of what a chief once told me, the blood within us is stronger than the sea that divides us.”
