
Health Ministry announces recruitment of Medical, dental officers effective July 8

The Ghana Health Ministry (MoH) has announced the recruitment of Medical Officers and Dentists. This was communicated in a statement shared on the Ministry’s X formerly Twitter) platform and dated July 6.
The Health Ministry stated that applicants who have “.…completed their House Job and have been verified by the Medical and Dental Council” can apply when the portal opens on Wednesday, July 8.
“The recruitment process will commence on Wednesday, 8th July, 2026 at 10:00 am. Qualified applicants are requested to formally apply on the Ministry of Health online application portal by logging in to
https://mohrecruitment.comand following the instructions to select the preferred district for postings”, the statement noted.
Available vacancies are currently under the GHS, CHAG, Ahmadiyya, and the Mental Health Authority.
According to the Ministry, the portal will remain open for one week. It also cautioned applicants to be wary of individuals posing as middlemen and demanding payment in exchange for securing slots.
“The deadline for submission of applications is Wednesday 15th July, 2026 at 6:00 pm. Kindly be informed that the recruitment process remains transparent.
Applicants are therefore advised to be cautious of fraudulent Individuals who may claim to offer assistance for a fee. The Ministry advises all applicants NOT to make any payment for this process”, parts of the statement read.
Also, all applicants who were part of the 34th and 35th batches are eligible to reapply when the portal is opened; however, on condition that their application request fr a reporting should be within the previous region they were posted to.
“The 34th and 35th batches of Medical and Dental Officers who applied but did not report may also participate in this process. However, participation by this group will be limited to their original regions, as posted, if vacancies remain. We count on your usual cooperation,” the statement ended.
