The South African government has announced the inclusion of Ghana in its E Visa list, allowing Ghanaian citizens to apply for visas online instead of visiting the South African High Commission in Accra. This announcement was made by the South African High Commission in Ghana, in a statement issued on September 28, 2023.

According to the statement, Ghanaian nationals can now apply for South African visas through the online portal of the Department of Home Affairs of the Republic of South Africa, available at www.dha.gov.za.

“The High Commission of the Republic of South Africa wishes to inform that Ghana has been added by the Government of the Republic of South Africa on the E Visa list, which means that Ghanaian Nationals can apply online for visas to South Africa without visiting the High Commission.”“The information is available on the portal of the Department of Home Affairs of the Republic of South Africa.
