Ablakwa's committee is mandated with overseeing the fulfillment of government pledges to both Parliament and the public, ensuring accountability and transparency in governance.
Alongside the Assurance Committee, Parliament has formed the Ethics and Standards Committee, chaired by Asokwa MP Patricia Appiagyei, and the Ways and Means Committees.
These bodies are pivotal in upholding parliamentary integrity and efficiency.
