Information reaching the Independent Ghana indicates that a dispatch rider has lost his life in a hit and run.
According to an eyewitness' account, the dispatch rider was hit by a unknown motorist on the Haatso-Atomic road in Accra on Monday, July 3, 2023. The rider then slipped beneath a Honda Accord car.
The driver of the Honda Accord car unbeknownst to him dragged the ridder up until the point his vehicle caught fire. While this ensued, the driver who knocked down the motor rider had eloped.

Unfortunately, the dispatch rider got stuck and was engulfed by the fire.
"We could not rescue the motor rider due to the intensity of the fire. The fire extinguishers present were just not enough," the eyewitness recounted.

A team from the Ghana National Fire Service arrived at the scene to douse the flames.
