Antonio Conte has refrained from confirming reports suggesting he will take over as the coach of Napoli.
The former Chelsea and Tottenham manager is Napoli's top choice if the club opts to replace Rudi Garcia.
Garcia is under pressure at Napoli, with the team in fifth place after eight league games, but when questioned about the link, Conte said: "For now, I'm enjoying my family.
"I made a clear choice when I left England. Then you know that many things can happen along the way. Napoli? We must always have great respect and education."
Antonio Conte, aged 56, has been unemployed since his mutual departure from Tottenham in March, following a 16-month tenure. The Italian has previously secured league titles with his former clubs, which include Chelsea, Juventus, and Inter Milan.
Rudi Garcia assumed the position after Luciano Spalletti during the summer.
However, a 3-1 home defeat to Fiorentina last Sunday left Napoli trailing league leaders AC Milan by seven points, with just four wins from their initial eight league matches.
Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has indicated that he won't rush into a decision concerning Garcia's role.
"I'm an entrepreneur," De Laurentiis said. "I have a duty to take an interest in my business. I will make the most appropriate decisions when the time comes to make them. You must always take a reflective pause. Every hasty decision is wrong... Head down, pedal and work."
