Among the recent individuals to declare victory for the NPP is former head of monitory at Forestry Commission, Charles Owusu.

In an interview with Peace FM on its "Kokrokoo" programme, Mr Owusu said the winner of the elections has already been chosen by God and that there isn't much the main opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC) can do about it.
2
"Nana Akufo-Addo has broken the record already. He will hand over to his own party...The 2024 elections have already been decided...God has already chosen the one who will lead this country," he said.
3
According to him, he would not have been disturbed should Mahama have been chosen by God to lead the country due to his experience, but that is not the case, he said.
4
To buttress his point, he reiterated that "NPP will win the next 2024 elections, come what may".
5
Prior to this, the Member of Parliament for Abetifi, Bryan Acheampong noted that by all means, the NPP will remain in power come 2025.
6
His statement met stern opposition from the NDC who described the MP's words as "treasonable".
7
On the matter, the Police is said to have they find no fault with Mr Acheampong's comment, however, advised that politicians refrain from inciting the public to engage in violence in the next polls.
