Parts of Accra East will experience an eight-hour emergency power outage today, Sunday, August 30.

This, according to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) is to allow engineers work on a fault as part of measures to improve service delivery.

In a public notice issued on Saturday, the power distribution company noted that the outage is scheduled from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The affected areas include Action Chapel, the Bank of Ghana warehouse, Tip Toe Lane, Odo Rice, parts of Carprice and surrounding areas.

Others are parts of Trassaco, Saso, Sidalco, Signature Apartments and Cassa Trassaco.
